Hello Ladies, So, tales from the salon world…a woman would rather go back to her hairdresser that she knows, whom she wasnt happy with, and doesnt like her hair, than try someone new. Sound familiar? So many women rank finding a new hairdresser on the same scale as a new job, moving and death of a loved one. And if it’s a couple, the fight is over who keeps the hairdresser. True story. Every one of us has had the same experience with their clients. I will say it takes 3 times to see if your hairdresser ‘gets ‘ your hair, if your hair goals are moving in a positive direction, and for you as the hairdresser to gut- check your work and your relationship with the client. None of us can be all things to all people. Weather its a move to or from balayage and highlights, a new color, a first time color or trying to camouflage grey, it’s stressful, scary and sometimes it doesn’t go as planned. The good news is that color can be fixed. Made lighter or darker, more or less red. and you don’t have to wait months for it to grow out unlike a haircut. So, take a deep breath, have a positive thought, and make the call. Happy Hair Day to All!!! Tricia Pixie & James Hair Color Studio/Salon
